$250,000.00
Project Background

Contractor purchased ten dedicated California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified propane transit buses for a new transit service, a community circulator, DASH Pico-Union/Echo Park. This service connects Echo Park and Pico-Union areas of Los Angeles with parks, schools, hospitals, Metro Red Line and Metro Blue Line Rail Stations and major east/west transit corridors. The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) selected Ryder/ATE, Inc. 30-foot propane shuttle buses for this project. The shuttles operate on Cummins B 5.9 propane engines which meet the CARB's optional emission standard. Fueling infrastructure has been installed at the transit yards servicing these buses.
