The bus station was erected at East Los Angeles College's main transit stop. Riders coming to and from school benefited. Their points of origin are unknown but conceivably would be within a 20-mile radius of the campus.
MSRC funded a portion of a bus station. The balance of the program was not completed due to a dearth of donations and matching funds. Had it been possible to complete the entire planned program, which included purchasing Compressed Natural Gas vehicles to replace gasoline vehicles, emissions would have been calculated.
