On September 18, MSRC Member and San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman threw out the dual first pitch at Dodger Stadium to help kick-off MSRC/Metro night celebrating more than a decade of the Dodger Stadium Express. Thanks to a long-standing partnership with Metro and the Los Angeles Dodgers, the MSRC’s co-funding for this project helps provide clean-fueled bus service for fans to get out of their cars and onto public transit to travel to and from home games.

On July 24, the MSRC was on-hand to celebrate WattEV’s grand opening of the largest publicly accessible heavy-duty truck charging site in the nation, funded, in part, with Clean Transportation Funding from the MSRC. Thanks to a unique partnership between the MSRC and the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), WattEV was awarded nearly $3 million through SCAG’s Last Mile Freight Program to support “last mile” technologies to help those in the goods movement industry invest in cleaner trucks and infrastructure.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) has added eight new CNG-fueled bucket trucks to its fleet. The MSRC provided $240,000 in Clean Transportation funding from its Local Government Match Program designed to co-fund clean air projects for cities and counties in the South Coast region.
