Project Background

Contractor developed an advanced state-of-the-art Vehicle Emissions Research Laboratory (VERL) designed to provide more accurate estimates of emissions reductions from current and future technology involving light duty vehicles (passenger vehicles) and medium duty vehicles (light trucks, vans, etc.). The purpose of the project was to design advanced emission testing equipment and procedures for a variety of vehicles.
