To close out 2016, the latest MSRC e-newsletter Clean Air Roadmap has a number of great stories that embody what the MSRC is all about. The first article celebrates the one millionth rider on the MSRC-funded Dodger Stadium Express, and recounts the festive MSRC night at Dodger Stadium with Chair Greg Pettis throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. The second article spotlights one of the MSRC's project partners - the City of Irvine - and its new improvements to the San Diego Creek Bikeway. With the help of Clean Transportation Funding from the MSRC, the City enhanced trails safety and visibility with new lighting and railings to make biking more attractive to residents. The final article reflects on the MSRC's fall Retreat. Members of the MSRC and the Technical Advisory Committee celebrated the MSRC's 25th anniversary by reviewing two and a half decades of clean air successes made possible by innovative MSRC investments, and guest speakers presented a future vision of projects the MSRC could help fund in the next 25 years.
