For the third consecutive year, the MSRC is celebrating California Clean Air Day on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022.
A project of the Coalition for Clean Air, California Clean Air Day is a day to unite people in action to improve our community health to create new habits to clean up the air in California’s diverse communities. Whether it’s an individual, business, government agency or nonprofit organization, there are things we all can do to improve air quality and protect public health, especially in the transportation sector, such as taking public transit, biking or walking to work, or carpooling.
The MSRC has been working every day to make it a clean air day for more than thirty years by investing over $450 million in air pollution reduction programs in the South Coast region. The MSRC pledges to continue to prioritize local investments in clean transportation solutions that will benefit the millions of people who suffer from some of the poorest air quality in the country.
