The MSRC is Proud to Support Clean Air Day on October 2

On Wednesday, October 2, the MSRC will celebrate its fifth consecutive year of supporting California Clean Air Day.

Clean Air Day is an annual event created by the Coalition for Clean Air to connect all Californians to engage in activities to help clean up the air across the state. Whether it’s an individual, business, government agency, or nonprofit organization, there are things we all can do to improve air quality and protect public health - especially in the transportation sector - such as riding public transit, biking or walking to work, or carpooling. Last year, more than 330 companies and organizations participated.

For nearly 35 years, the MSRC has been working every day to make it a clean air day in the South Coast region by investing more than $500 million in clean air projects to reduce emissions from mobile sources. The MSRC pledges to continue to prioritize local investments in clean transportation solutions that will benefit the millions of residents who suffer from some of the poorest air quality in the country.
