The MSRC’s Local Government Partnership Program (LGPP) is still open for a few more weeks and has funding available for your local agency to receive its pro-rata share of $21 million in funding to invest in clean transportation projects. The LGPP has funding reserved for all of the cities and counties in the South Coast region that participate in the AB 2766 Subvention Program.
The MSRC kicked-off its 2018-20 Work Program process by hosting a series of regional workshops throughout the South Coast air basin. The MSRC conducted its fifth bi-annual “road show” in May to gather stakeholder input on ways the MSRC can be most helpful in funding initiatives that can reduce air pollution emissions from the transportation sector – the biggest contributor to our region’s unhealthy air.
Dan York was recently selected to serve as the new MSRC Technical Advisory Committee (MSRC-TAC) Chair. York says he has “big shoes to fill” to follow his predecessor Gretchen Hardison, who recently stepped down after serving in the position for more than a decade.
