Clean Air Roadmap - September, 2022
The MSRC is seeking proposals for heavy-duty zero-emission infrastructure, and has identified up to $50 million to partner with stakeholders to make these possibilities become a reality. The MSRC’s RFI for publicly-accessible electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and hydrogen refueling infrastructure is a call to action to find partners who: are property owners; have an interest in property that would allow infrastructure construction; or have a role in the accelerated development of zero-emission infrastructure.
MSRC/Metro night at Dodger Stadium was held on August 9 and fun was had by all! MSRC Member Sydney Vergis was on hand to throw out the first pitch. She was accompanied on the field by MSRC Alternate Mark Yamarone and MSRC-TAC Chair Steven Lee, as well as by LA Metro Board Chair Ara Najarian to celebrate more than a decade of the Dodger Stadium Express service.
Tam Nguyen joined the MSRC this summer. He sits on the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Board and represents the Regional Rideshare Agency seat on the MSRC. Tam is a business, community, and philanthropic leader in Orange County. He is President of Advance Beauty College, with campuses in Garden Grove and Laguna Hills, and has helped more than 45,000 people graduate from the program, which has been operational for more than 35 years.
