Project Background
Purchased one compressed natural gas (CNG) trolley shuttle to link Old Town Calabasas with the Commons (a shopping center), City Hall, and the Library. The purchase of a twenty-six foot Freightliner MB-19 front engine twenty-seven passenger trolley has proven to be a very popular addition to the Calabasas town center. The trolleys are faux-vintage with etched windows and other decorations to make them look 'turn-of-the-century'. Ridership has remained high.
