The vehicles were operated in the City of Glendale. The Park-n-Ride facility was located in Glendale. The areas served exceed the city boundaries and encompass the northern portion of Los Angeles County.
Vehicle emission reductions were broken down by estimated daily emissions by project components. CNG bus driven 257 miles per day: Carbon Monoxide (CO), 4,988.37 grams; Reactive Organic Compounds (ROCs), 259.7 grams; and Nitrous Oxides (NOx), 817.69 grams reduced. Heavy Duty Vehicle driven 249 miles per day: CO, 4833.09; ROCs, 251.49 grams; NOx, 789.33 reduced. The Park-n-Ride anticipated 200 daily users averaging 10 daily miles reducing CO, 37.8 lbs, ROCs, 2.4 lbs, and NOx, 5.4 lbs.
