In March of 2004, SunLine was notified that CVAG had selected another street sweeping contractor; hence, the six pieces of equipment were transfered to CVAG and continue to be used as an element of their regional street sweeping program. The six pieces of equipment include two (2) Tymco Model 600 street sweepers; one Freightliner VacAll sweeper; two (2) Freightliner 2-axle dump trucks, and one Lee Boy 3000 force feed loader. The vehicles are used to remove sand from road surfaces in the Coachella Valley as a means to mitigate particulate matter (PM10) emissions.
