This June, the MSRC will be holding a series of six regional workshops throughout the South Coast Air District to gather public input on ideas for clean transportation funding initiatives that stakeholders would like to see considered in the MSRC's upcoming two-year Work Program. The MSRC's Work Program sets the project categories for which funding will be available during FYs 2016-2018, such as alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure, transportation demand management programs and education and outreach programs. For the last round of workshops in 2014, nearly 150 stakeholders participated from the public sector, private companies, academic institutions and non-profit organizations. The MSRC is hoping to break this record attendance by expanding the pool of workshop participants. While the main workshop information presented will be the same for all six workshops, the stakeholder dialog promises to be as rich and diverse and as the attendees who participate.
