The City of Glendora operates a Mini bus fleet implementing essential transportation services within the city. The bus purchased in partnership between the city and the MSRC serves as a Metrolink shuttle during the morning and evening commute hours, providing transportation from the Glendora Park and Ride lot to the Covina Metrolink Station. Glendora also utilizes the MSRC-cofunded shuttle to provide midday shuttle service between two schools and the Glendora Teen Center.

The new, 22-passenger CNG shuttle bus was purchased from Creative Bus Sales, Inc.. for utilization by the City of Glendora's Mini Bus Fleet. The vehicle was purchased through the CalAct/MBTA Vehicle Purchasing Cooperative. The vehicle was placed into service on October 29, 2011.
The purpose of this project was to purchase a low-emission, 22-passenger cutaway CNG shuttle bus to serve as a rail feeder vehicle between the City of Glendora Park and Ride lot and the Metrolink station located in the City of Covina during the morning and evening commute hours. During the midday hours, the shuttle provides transportation services between two local schools and the City of Glendora Teen Center. The low emission shuttle is fueled with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as opposed to diesel fuel.
The CNG shuttle primarily operates as a Metrolink rail feeder. Metrolink passengers are able to utilize the shuttle to access the Metrolink station via the City of Glendora park and ride facility. Ridership on the Glendora shuttle averages approximately 39 patrons per day. It is estimated that the shuttle eliminates on the order of 33,000 single occupant vehicle miles annually.
Two technical issues were encountered during bus operations. In May of 2012, the engine's electronic control module (ECM) failed. Creative Bus Sales performed a reprograming of the engine ECM. Also, in August 2012, the catalytic converter failed; this was replaced under warranty by Ford. No other technical issues have been encountered.
